The Marvels Delayed to November 2023, First Poster Revealed

Marvel Studios has delayed The Marvels from July 28, 2023, to November 10, 2023. To help with the wait, Marvel has also released the first poster for The Marvels with Brie Larson's Carol Danvers, Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan, and Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau.

The poster, which features The Marvel's heroes in a line headed toward the stars, features the tagline, "Higher. Further. Faster. Together."

For those who were hoping to head to the theaters on July 28, Disney has filled that spot with its live-action Haunted Mansion film with Jamie Lee Curtis, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, and more. The movie based on the beloved Disney Parks ride was originally going to be released on August 11, 2023,

We don't know much about The Marvels as of yet, but we do know it picks up after the events of Disney+'s Ms. Marvel series, where Kamala and Carol swapped places. The problem, however, is that this was a shock to both of them.

The first trailer for The Marvels was revealed behind closed doors at D23 2022, and much of it was set on SABER Space Station, where Nick Fury is. The footage showed more of Carol and Kamala's power entanglement, which also includes Monica Rambeau in its web.

This delay also follows a report that Marvel is potentially pushing the brakes on the amount of projects it wants to release in a year. The report was mostly focused on TV, however, and said that Loki's second season and Secret Invasion are the only "sure bets" to make it out in 2023. The plan originally was for up to six to be released.

While The Marvels may be further away than some had hoped, MCU fans can head to the theaters right now to see Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In our review, we said it "has just enough heart, humor, and excellent performances to make up for its more underdeveloped aspects."

The wait for the next MCU film also isn't too far away, as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will make its way to theaters on May 5, 2023. Oh, and the film also got a big game trailer, so be sure to check that out!
