AMC Reveals New Footage for Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: Dead City

AMC has revealed new details for a pair of its The Walking Dead spinoffs: Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: Dead City.

Fear the Walking Dead's final season will start on Sunday, May 14, and is set to air over two six-episode parts. As part of The Walking Dead panel at WonderCon today, Fear the Walking Dead co-showrunner Ian Goldberg revealed that Season 8 will include a seven-year time jump. AMC also shared a new trailer for the final season of the long-running spinoff, which you can watch below.

The Walking Dead: Dead City, on the other hand, is just getting started. AMC revealed the premiere date for the brand new spinoff, which is set to debut on June 18. Dead City stars Lauren Cohan's Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan.

The show takes place in New York City, in a post-apocalyptic Manhattan that is cut off from the mainland. AMC shared a quick teaser for the upcoming series, which shows Walkers falling from the sky.

These aren't the only Walking Dead spinoffs coming up. We're also expecting The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, a new series starring Norman Reedus' character in France, as he works to find his way home. Finally, there will be another new Walking Dead series starting sometime next year starring Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira's Michonne.

The original The Walking Dead series ended last year after its 11th season. For more, check out who the IGN audience picked as the very best character from The Walking Dead.
