In a tweet posted yesterday, Logitech General Manager of Gaming Ujesh Desai announced confirmation of merging the Blue Microphones. In an FAQ posted on Reddit regarding the merger, Logitech explained it will keep the Blue name to "describe [Logitech's] technologies," such as BLUE VO!CE, Logitech's microphone technology.

More interestingly, the tweet notes that Logitech is also planning to merge its Astro Gaming and Logitech Creators brands and sell those products under the Logitech G brand. Logitech noted on Reddit that the Astro brand will continue to live on even after the merger, and teased a new product launch the company thinks the "community will be very excited about".

Logitech acquired Blue Microphones back in 2018 for $117 million and prior to that, Logitech bought Astro Gaming from Skullcandy for $85 million in 2017.
