Netflix has announced that the long-awaited Season 6 of Black Mirror will premiere next month on June 15.
A new trailer for the show was also released alongside a breakdown of the five episode season. Netflix revealed that the episode names in order are: Joan is Awful, Loch Henry, Beyond the Sea, Mazey Day, and Demon 79.
Joan is Awful follows an average woman, portrayed by Salma Hayek, as she discovers that a global streaming platform has launched a drama adaptation of her life. Sticking to the TV theme, Loch Henry sees a young couple travel to a quiet Scottish town to make a nature documentary before being drawn into a shocking local story.
Beyond the Sea takes place in an alternative 1969 as two men on a high tech mission wrestle with the consequences of an unimaginable tragedy, and Mazey Day follows a troubled starlet dogged by paparazzi who must deal with the consequences of a hit and run.
Finally, Demon 79 also goes back in time, to England in 1979, as a meek sales assistant is told she must commit terrible acts to prevent disaster.
Season 6 was announced in April and also stars Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, Schitt's Creek's Annie Murphey, Scott Pilgrim's Michael Cera, and more.
In our 8/10 review of the last season, IGN said: "Black Mirror Season 5 is one the series' best, with a shorter, stronger, and more captivating collection of episodes."
