Fans of platform brawlers like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate can now look forward to LEGO Brawls, an Apple Arcade game that's making the move to consoles.
Confirmed for Nintendo Switch in yesterday's Nintendo Direct, today we're learning LEGO Brawls is also coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles this June. LEGO Brawls is a free-for-all fighting game taking place in the LEGO universe. It was first released in 2019 as a launch game for Apple Arcade.
The game has eight different battle arenas pulling from classic LEGO sets like castles and the wild west, as well as licensed LEGO franchises like Jurassic World.
Fitting with the LEGO brand, players will be able to design their own brawling LEGO Minifigure, choosing cosmetics and battle abilities. The gameplay trailer also shows powerups, like giant LEGO mech suits that can tear up the stage and the competition.
We've been seeing more and more Smash Bros.-likes make their way to consoles, from LEGO Brawls, to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, to WB's MultiVersus. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is still getting content, recently welcoming TMNT's Shredder to the roster.
